My name is Henock.

I'm a survey statistician in the Statistics and Evaluation group at Westat.

I've been working here for a little more than three years now.

And, yeah, I'm also starting grad school in the Fall.

So, I've been a full-time employee at Westat, while attending JPSM at University of Maryland.

I am very involved in the statistical weighting for a school health survey and a sampling for a tobacco health study project, that I'm working on with Westat.

For the sampling, it's a lot of testing and preparations and writing these specifications for what we want to get from the sample.

Some of this involves a little bit of statistical programming, meeting with the other statisticians I work with and they've sent out a writing as well.

Whereas the weighting one is a little more defined structure.

All of the projects that I see at Westat always seemed to be for the greater good in some very tangible way, which I love.

So, like I mentioned earlier, both of my projects are in the health field or one is a youth health study.

And I know that the results for that actually does go into play in some of the policy makings at the state level for different States, which is really cool.

The work we do at Westat always feels meaningful, which is a great feeling to have as an employee.
