Hi, I'm Elizabeth Rowley and I'm a Senior Biostatistician at Westat and I work in the public health and epidemiology group.

I work on a great variety of projects - it's probably my favorite part about working for Westat.

I work on big projects and small projects.

Some of my big projects are with the NIEHS, the National Institute of Environmental Sciences.

My big project with them called "The Sister Study," which is a large cohort of women that we've followed for many years and these women have sisters who had breast cancer.

So this cohort is more at risk and we're studying them.

Another project is with the CDC and it's looking at electronic health record data to investigate diabetes.

And then I also do a number of projects through the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

Westat is collegial, it's flexible, and it's very challenging.
